Edition: Private member-only edition, limited to 477 copies. This edition includes work from literary figures such as Oscar Wilde, Andrew Lang, and Nathan Haskell Dole, and features original paper boards, deckled edges, engraved title pages, and multiple seals/insignias. Also present is an unusual pasted emblem of the Trinacria (Sicilian symbol) to the rear board, potentially signifying private provenance. The book shows age-appropriate wear and some spine separation but remains intact and richly documented. Pages were printed in the style Quarto which means they were folded into 4 squares and printed on the two outer squares – then stitched in. But this edition was printed on all four squares rendering it virtually impossible to read each page unless each section was cut by hand. They have not been and they are all intact. After 120 years the book is intact and in superb condition. Found in a book store on along Charing Cross Road London. In excellent condition and kept now in an acid free polyurethane covering for protection and preservation.
