Publisher’s original binding with some bumping to corners, as well as head and tail of spine. Boards and spine clean, with gilt title to spine ever-so-lightly rubbed. Tanning to edges and prelims with few, if any, signs of foxing. Pages tightly bound with none loose. Ex-library copy, therefore it comes with stamp to bottom edge (National Physical Laboratory, Teddington, Middlesex), ex-libris bookplate to front paste-down end paper, and stamp, date and inscription to FFEP. Otherwise an immaculate example within. Slight discolouration to spine and minimal creasing to extremities. Overall, with the exception of the ex-libris marks, a VG+ to near-fine example.
