A significant milestone is being celebrated in 2025 with the release of a new Pictorial Guides to the Lakeland Fells – 70th Anniversary Edition box set. Alfred Wainwright Books & Memorabilia has agreed with book publisher Frances Lincoln to produce this new reprint, incorporating several enhancements and updated prelims. The attractive slipcase and dust jackets are adorned with silver, symbolising the 70th anniversary, traditionally associated with platinum. The books maintain their classic look, returning to hardback cases and dust jackets, featuring updated colours and elegant silver blocking.
