This rare, out of print edition, signed by Sam and Max creator Steve Purcell, was limited to just 2500 copies through Telltale Games’ online store, and is now an extremely sought-after collector’s item. The book has aged exceptionally well and been kept in meticulous care, with only the smallest exterior signs of wear (a small dent in the “M” of the title, some flaking of the gold lettering, and extremely minor superficial scruff marks) preventing this from being listed “as new”. I have endeavoured to capture these markings as accurately as possible in the product photos; please review all images carefully for full peace of mind before purchasing. Twenty years ago, Sam & Max burst onto the indie comic book scene with a daring venture to the Philippines (drawn entirely without reference) called Monkeys Violating the Heavenly Temple. Today they’re the stars of an Eisner-nominated webcomic and a successful episodic game series. Sam & Max creator Steve Purcell and Telltale are celebrating these milestones with the this new edition of the Sam & Max comic book collection, Surfin’ the Highway.
