Publication Type: Artist Book; Photobook. Dimensions: 16.8cm x 19.9cm x 0.6cm. 40 pages of richly printed B+W photographs with text. With brown cloth taped spine. On the front cover the book. S title and the author. S name are in gold foil within a debossed rectangle. There are circular die-cut windows in the front and back covers revealing small portions of imagery within. Bedknobs and Broomsticks is considered to be one of Trent Parke’s most beautiful art photography books. It was published in 2010 as the inaugural volume of the “Children’s Books For Adults” series by Alec Soth’s Little Brown Mushroom (LBM) imprint. Its design is reminiscent of children. S exercise books and draws strongly on the classic picturebook series Little Golden Books For Children from the 1940’s. This title is now a contemporary art photography classic. This particular copy is number 351 from the first and only edition limited to 1000 hand-numbered copies, and is in extremely good condition.

To Be Continued is a landmark graphic musical score and artist’s book by internationally acclaimed conceptual artist Christian Marclay, whose work sits at the intersection of visual art, sound, and performance. Conceived as both a performable musical composition and a standalone visual artwork, the publication uses comic-strip imagery as an open, time-based score. This (first) edition, produced by Christian Marclay for the Klangspuren Festival für Neue Musik in Tirol; a dynamic collage of mostly comic book imagery, to be interpreted as A musical score for guitar, woodwinds, double bass, and percussion. It was published in 2016 by Klangspuren Schwaz Tirol, Austria, in an edition of 2000, and is widely regarded as one of Marclay’s most compelling score-based works. While intended for performance, the book is equally valued by contemporary art collectors and followers of Marclay’s gallery and museum practice. Interior / score pages: Very good to excellent overall. Pages are clean, complete, and fully intact. Shows visible wear, including. Discolouration along the edge of the cover and on the first page. These flaws are fully reflected in the price and clearly visible in the photographs. Page edges browned extending to margins, otherwise the book is in very good condition in good condition covers, which are rubbed with small loss to edges. Dustjacket present and in good condition but spine faded and edgeworn with some loss, especially to head of spine.
