Andrew Langs limited edition large paper editions of the first four fairy books, the only ones in this format, the extremely scarce Blue fairy book Ltd to 113 copies, the Red Ltd to 113 copies, the Yellow Ltd to 140 & the Green Ltd to 150. The Blue outer front hinge is cracked but holds strong, spine a little grubby, has a crease down the centre & a couple of mm loss at the bottom, has bookplate of former owner & apart from a few light finger marks is extremely nice internally, the Red is very nice both inside and outside, the Green also very nice both inside and out, also, unbelievably, has all its pages still uncut!! The Yellow has a slightly grubby spine, a former owner bookplate, internally very nice, all in all they are a very nice set at an excellent price!! Please look at the photos closely, really it’s only the covers, the interiors are fine bar a few light finger marks, all things considered they’re an utter bargain!
