It was new and sealed but the author cut the plastic wrapping carefully on 3 sides so it was possible to open the book, in order to sign it. Limited edition number of 94 of 99. Supernatural Thailand – A travel Guide – Ltd Ed of 99. This personal work explores the spiritual locations in Thailand that are close to the heart of the author, the places he visits as a restorative, to immerse himself into the magic of this land. The book starts with the altar at home, the purity and supernature within, and then explores the possibilities of connecting with the supernatural away from the praise of the ghosts that devotees of The Thai Occult are close to. From connecting to the land to visiting the locations protected by powerful ghosts, from the ancient graveyard to the strongly haunted places. There are sections on shrines for good fortune, haunted trees and the wonders of Nakhon Pathom. We return to the famous Ghost Shrines to encourage you to visit them, made all the easier because of Google Map references and encouraged by sumptuous photographs. There are the ancient places of power in the South, which includes famous shrines for Taa Phran. Caves come to the fore in this work and there are more that have been explored, including the ones at Khao Orr, the centre of Southern Thai magic. The Naga are rising too, with visits to their famous locations, some of which are extremely difficult to get to but it is the final chapters that are closest to the heart of the author as he looks at following a famous monk and the Kruba movement. A special feature here is a large section on Luang Phor Pina and a visit to the Golden Monks around Chiang Mai. Finally, there is new work on Buddhist relics and locations where an experience can be had by sitting close to the remains of revered Arahants, all made easy as locations are given. This book aims to open Thailand and its special locations to those who need to go there to aid their spiritual quest. It is a book from the heart of the author and it was worth the difficulties of trying to complete this work during the worldwide pandemic. After that, anything is easy. A book on a single magician has not been made for many years, which is a nod to an exceptionally talented young magician, Ajarn Apichai. The Thai Occult 1 book is the story of The Thai Occult practices, with a particular focus on the Lanna region. The Thai Occult 2 book provides a view of the regional variations, and The Thai Occult 3 looks at the Creation of Magic [within the context of the Thai Buddhist Animist Occult tradition] itself by focussing on the work of one Ajarn. We chose Ajarn Apichai for this task, because of the sheer quantity of Wicha he carries within him. This book looks at the effect an expanse of knowledge can have on a single magician, because of the combinations of magic he can draw upon depending on the task at hand. The world of magic that resides within Ajarn Apichai can be viewed as being as deep as the magic in the country itself. While this is the case with many Thai magicians, Ajarn was chosen because of the way he views Thai magic, and the way he uses the knowledge. When creating this book, the first task was to interview Ajarn Apichai about the creation of magic itself, and then how he uses the Supernatural Materials available to him. This book is not just a case of’the Thais use this’, it is an attempt to explain the sources of these materials, and the specific reasons for usage. Following that, we look at his function as an Ajarn and the Kruba Ajarns he studied under. Luang Phor Charuay holds the lineage knowledge of Luang Pu Suk, and this book introduces the first level of knowledge to any Thai person interested in studying with him. This extra work will be sent to the buyers of the Tamboon Edition as a gift shortly.
