A very unique book dedicated to Jacob Schoepper, posthumously, who was defamed in his time. Much of his sermons and writings were criminalized and confiscated during the reformation after his doctrinal and justification of the sacraments in his catechism sermon works. This book includes some of his controversial sermons and letters that were supposedly “criminal” and done away with. His writings and instructions are representative of a reform-oriented Catholicism of strange ideas. This book was organized following his death in 1554. This book was one of the first organized reformation books that created a movement in the early 16th century. The book was an organized by his followers with interest of a revolution in the near future. The followers of Jacob Schoepper organized this book in hopes of gaining new followers to their reform-oriented beliefs of a new age of believers. The book measures 6″ inches in height 4″ inches in width and contains complete 643 pages. Pages are crisp and have held up great. No rips or tears in the pages.
