Up for sale is a special hardcover edition of SHAGs solo exhibition book entitled, “Autumns Come Undone” from 2010. The book was produced to celebrate the first annual Chicago Comic and Entertsinment Expo (C2E2) and features work that premiered at Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles, California. SHAG released two versions of this book: a softcover version which included a serigraph entitled, The Deep Sleeper… And then a limited edition hardcover version of only 100 copies. This listing is for the more rare hardcover version. The contents of each copy of the hardcover version is exactly the same from copy to copy, but each copy includes a watercolor hand-painted and hand-signed front cover image by SHAG and features a worded theme. Each book has a different image and a theme unique to that copy. The theme for this copy is THE WILDERNESS. Each copy also includes a loose serigraph entitled, A Discouraging Realization (sometimes refereed to as The Lime Balloon) and is hand-signed and hand-numbered by SHAG. The cover page of each book is also hand-signed and hand-numbered by SHAG. The serigraph and book are both matching numbers (#69/100). The book measures 10 x 13 (approx 22.5cm x 33cm). There was no certificate of authenticity ever included with any copy of this book or serigraph. The book and serigraph are in MINT condition. They have been stored with acid free materials in a smoke-free/pet-free home. The serigraph has never been framed, displayed or rolled.
