The Book of Urizen. London: The Trianon Press, 1958. First edition thus – limited edition, letter R of 26 copies reserved for Trustees, from an edition of 526. Quarto (300 x 240 x 20 mm). Printed on Arches pure rag paper made to match the paper used by Blake and each page is watermarked with Blake’s monogram. Bound in original russet morocco-backed marbled boards, t. E. G. 27 collotype plates hand-coloured through stencil, some heightened with gold. Binding, covers and slip-case finely preserved. Interior excellent with just a faint hint of light intermittent foxing. Without previous ownership markings. Please view my other rare books.
