This is a rare opportunity to own a limited edition set of Philip Pullman’s The Book of Dust, which includes the first two books: La Belle Sauvage and The Secret Commonwealth. The edition is signed by the author himself, making it a must-have for any fan or collector. Don’t miss out on the chance to add these unique and valuable books to your collection. This exclusive limited edition is a must-have for Philip Pullman fans and collectors. This specially designed hardback, cloth-bound edition in a cloth slipcase, finished with gold and silver foil, is limited to 5,000 copies. Each copy is signed by Philip Pullman, numbered and stamped with a blind-embossed John Lawrence engraving. The beautifully designed silver pantone end papers echo the content of the book, and the cover illustration is a newly commissioned piece by Chris Wormell. Sporting glorious cover art from master British illustrator Chris Wormell, Pullman declared that I’ve admired Chris Wormell’s artwork for a long time, and when the chance of having him illustrate the covers of my new novel came along I leapt at it. It’s been a delight to see the work emerge and I’m thrilled with the result. Now, in The Secret Commonwealth, we meet Lyra Silvertongue. And she is no longer a child.. The second volume of Sir Philip Pullman’s The Book of Dust sees Lyra, now twenty years old, and her dæmon Pantalaimon, forced to navigate their relationship in a way they could never have imagined, and drawn into the complex and dangerous factions a world that they had no idea existed. Pulled along on his own journey too is Malcolm; once a boy with a boat and a mission to save a baby from the flood, now a man with a strong sense of duty and a desire to do what is right. Theirs is a world at once familiar and extraordinary, and they must travel far beyond the edges of Oxford, across Europe and into Asia, in search for what is lost – a city haunted by dæmons, a secret at the heart of a desert, and the mystery of the elusive Dust. The Secret Commonwealth is truly a book for our times; a powerful adventure and a thought-provoking look at what it is to understand yourself, to grow up and make sense of the world around you. This is storytelling at its very best from one of our greatest writers. Not suitable for younger readers. Both books are new and unread, however, only Book 2: The Secret Commonwealth is still in its plastic foil. Book 1 has slight marks on outer cover and edges of outer cover. Please see photos above. Any further questions or requests for extra photos are more than welcome.

On Basilisk Station (Honor Harrington) Leather Bound Signed New. Having made a superior look a fool, Honor Harrington has been exiled to Basilisk Station in disgrace and set up for ruin. The aborigines of the system’s only habitable planet are smoking homicide-inducing hallucinogens. Parliament isn’t sure it wants to keep the place; the major local industry is smuggling; the merchant cartels want her head; the star-conquering, so-called “Republic” of Haven is up to something; and Honor Harrington has a single, over-age light cruiser with an armament that doesn’t work to police the entire star system. But the people out to get her have made one mistake. They’ve made her mad. A Note from Author David WeberThere’s been some confusion-not to say, um, energetic debate, readers and fans being readers and fans-about the correct pronunciation of Manticoran. The truth, alas, is that a stitch was dropped. A mistake was made. And it wasn’t Audible’s fault. She wanted to make absolutely certain she had the correct pronunciations for names, places, star nations, etc. And I tried to make certain all of her questions were answered. And so they were. Unfortunately, at some point in the process, I replied to one of her e-mails by telling her that “Man-ti-core-ahn” was pronounced Man-tik-er-ahn. I can ascribe it only to a temporary mental hiccup on my part and crave your forgiveness. If, however, you must blame someone for the mix-up, that someone should be me and not Audible, who have done everything they could to get it right. Publisher? Earthlight; First edition & printing (January 1, 2000). Item Weight? 7.8 ounces.

PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING, TONS OF IMPORTANT INFORMATION! Be sure to view my other auctions to see the other editions Including one inscribed to Mickey Rourke! This listing is for ONE BOOK (Specifically the book in the photographs). Book is hand SIGNED on the front endpaper by Fabian. This Edition is bound in an extremely gorgeous pebbled leather. It appears to be very different from the “Open Edition”. (From the photos I have found). It is also lacking the big publisher’s logo on the front board. I believe this to be a version of the “Deluxe” “Limited” Edition. It is a MASSIVE book. It is not the 12″x12″ version available on Amazon. It is approximately 15″x12″ and weighs approximately 10 pounds. I cannot find another “Deluxe” version for sale on the internet. It is insanely scarce! This book (As well as 2 others I obtained of this same title) have white edges. However, I have one copy (a separate listing). That has gold gilt edges. All other aspects are identical. I have not found another copy with gilt edges so, that only furthers my confusion on the “edition” of these books. Take a look at all of the photos and determine for yourself. They may be editions special to the publisher and/or Fabian I’m really not sure. They are absolutely BREATHTAKING. This book is “unread” but in used condition. While absolutely stunning, there is some shelf and storage wear. I have gone over every inch to the best of my ability, I have noted below, the imperfections upon close inspection. I have also included several photos to capture the condition. Leather is a bit dusty, Could use a gentle cleaning. Dents, curling edges, and other imperfections to the Dust Jacket. Back of Dust Jacket has more surface wear than the front. It almost looks like brush strokes and may very well be intentional. Minor Finger prints, smudges, etc also present. Corners show very minor wear. Leather boards have minimal cosmetic wear. Very minor nicks, or rubbing may be found upon close inspection. Please feel free to request additional photos if needed! Neo-Emotionalism – A Ten Year Retrospective. This is Fabian Perez’s third book published in 2013. It is composed of 328 pages and over 1,000 full color photographs of his paintings, editions, sculpture, studies, and pencil and pen and ink drawings. This hard cover book is dedicated to Fabian’s son Tiago. Compiles 10 years of Fabian Perez’s masterpieces. Fabian describes his style as Neo- Emotionalism, a movement that will be recognized by the Artist who, after creating their work will simply feel liberated and also by the viewer when they feel the creation in their heart. YOU ARE PURCHASING A USED BOOK. Please read the entire listing, and view all photos. Condition of used books will vary. Expected wear of a used book may include. Tears, cosmetic damage, bent pages/covers, stains, etc. In the event of significant damage Missing pages, Missing cover, Water damage etc. It will be stated in the book’s listing. I do my best to provide clear photos and detailed descriptions. However, descriptions are not all inclusive. I may overlook or miss minor wear and tear. If you have any questions about the item, please send a message. I can provide additional photos and answer any questions you may have BEFORE PURCHASING. Thank you so so much for looking!!
