A special signed & pre-publication dated deluxe cloth-bound low-numbered slipcased 1st edition of this acclaimed novel from multiple award-winning novelist, critic, poet and short-story writer Dame Antonia Susan Duffy A. Byatt, who died on 16 November 2023 aged 87. One of the leading writers of the past 60 years, she won the Booker Prize in 1990 for’ Possession’, and was often mentioned as a possible candidate for the Nobel Prize for Literature. This novel was shortlisted for the 2009 Booker Prize and won the prestigious James Tait Black Memorial Prize in 2010.
