SECRET OF THE AGES – MANLEY P HALL – 1928 LIMITED EDITION – FINE! SIGNED, Numbered & Limited – Fifth Edition! Gorgeous Plates – profusely illustrated by J. A Fine Collector’s Copy! This book – a magnificent work of art in itself – took more than two years to create because of the artistic typographic experimentation. Keats (with various inks, papers, and type). That took place prior to the book’s creation. The pagination of the book is patterned after the Gutenberg Bible. It can be classified as a quarto book, because of the method of folding a single piece of paper twice, and also classified as a folio because it’s more than 15 inches in height. The chapter headings are in “Caxton”, and the gorgeous two-color letters at the beginning of each chapter were produced by the Caslow Foundry in England. The book’s type is “Italian Old Style”, made by the Monotype company. John Henry Nash designed the binding, a web-like batik, and the spine and corners are reinforced with imported Spanish baby goat skin (vellum). A Morocco leather label is on the spine. The wooden slipcase is also covered in the same fabric as the book itself, reinforced with linen corners. The paper is made of the highest quality paper available at the time, made by Alexandra Japan. Golden gilt along the top edges. An Encyclopedic Outline of Masonic, Hermetic, Qabbalistic and Rosicrucian Symbolical Philosphy (The Secret Teachings of All Ages) Practical Lessons – Hypnotism and Magnetism – Mysteries of Occultism Revealed. Fifth Edition, Published 1928 by H S Crocker Co. Inc, San Francisco, CA. In the original wooden slipcase, which is covered in the same cloth/paper (similar to cork) material that covers the book and its endpapers. The slipcase boards have very minor rubbing and shelf wear. Numbered, Limited Edition(# 795 of 800). Inscription in ink is on the same page. Very clean inside with no marks. The book itself measures approx. 19 inches tall and 12 1/2 inches wide. If you have any questions, please contact me. Book Title: LINEA – Thirty-Five Nudes – hardcover black & white nude art photography book, signed First Edition, by Craig Morey, with a foreward by Yoshinori Kaneko. This is an original first edition hard-cover monograph. Linea – Thirty Five Nudes. Published in Japan in 1996. The book is now out of print, and we have very few copies left. The book was not distributed in the US by the publisher, and this title was never widely available outside of Japan. Translated by Michel Howard Maesaka; designed by Masahide Yoshida and Satomi Araki. Published by Korinsha Press & Co. Kyoto, Japan (1996) in association with Atsuhide Nakajima. Hardcover in transparent slipcover; approx. 6 x 7, 51 pp. Please note : this is not a large format coffee-table book; it is a smaller dimension than my first monograph, Studio Nudes. Books are from a single 1996 print run, and most are of the bookseller category “like new”, “very good”, or “good” , with some minor signs of shelf wear and aging. Note to UK, Asian and European buyers. I apologize for this inconvenience; however you may still be able to learn about new print offerings by signing up for my newsletter. Craig Morey is an award winning photographer, based in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 25 years. He is well known for his black and white studio nudes, and has published five monographs of this work, including Studio Nudes (Penthouse, 1992), Linea (Korinsha Japan, 1996), and 20th Century Studio Nudes (Glaspalast, Germany, 2001). Mister Babadook Pop Up Buch Book Fine Press Ltd. Signed by Jennifer Kent
International buyers are also welcome! I offer a pop-up book replica of the unusual horror film “Mister Babadook”. Signed by Jennifer Kent. The book is new. Only 5000 copies were created worldwide. Please take attention to the fact that the copies were not made by machine. Every replica was created by hand. Because of that fact there can be slightly dinged corners or a little bit of glue residue. However these little imperfections give you the feeling the book is directly taken out of the Movie. You will get the book which is shown in the pictures. The item is from a non-smoker household without animals. Write me if you have questions. Within EU 15,99 (insured up to 500 + tracking). Worldwide on request. The item “Mister Babadook Pop Up Buch Book Fine Press Ltd. Signed by Jennifer Kent” is in sale since Tuesday, June 25, 2019. This item is in the category “Sammeln & Seltenes\Weitere Sammelgebiete\Sonstige”. The seller is “shinsamchunnie” and is located in Berlin. This item can be shipped to European Union member countries.
