RARE 1893 G BOCCACCIO “THE DECAMERON” LIMITED EDITION VOLS 1 & 2 BOOKS (EV5). Great RARE LIMITED EDITION antique hardback books from 1893 by Giovanni Boccaccio. Complete set of two volumes. Limited edition #44 out of 1000 copies. Photo 23 shows that page 81 is partially detached. Photo 24 shows pencil writing from a previous bookseller which says that 6 illustrated pages (plates) are missing. Bindings and other pages inside each book are in great condition especially as the books are 131 years old. Books measure 28.75cm tall x 19.5cm wide. Combined weight of books is 2.5kg.
