But this is a real oddity! It looks as though only twelve copies were produced. It’s by a man who seems to have been a British army officer, a stamp dealer in Burma, and something of a poet, from the few references I traced on the Net. Some of it is reproduced from the work of others It begins with a chunk about the Himalayas, then an 18-page essay on the problems confronting India in realising self-government (dated 1929), then a part of a book whose chapter heading was Eldorado, Unlimited and From Strange Places, then a few personal pages on Indian life (largely, hunting), and it finishes with another longish essay on Kashmir The top few inches of the front cover are glistening for some reason, otherwise the condition is VG.
