An Antique Very Rare Fouth Book of Occult Philosophy Henry Cornelius Agrippa
Good evening my friends, I have for you one of the most sought after books on Occultism. Henry Cornelius Agrippa’s Fourth Book of Occult Philosophy. This is one of the first ever Limited Edition issues being number 180 from an initial print of 500, so when I say rare we are talking rocking horse poo. I’ve owned this book since new and it is in very good condition, the outer cover has some fading in places as it was exposed to sunlight before I ever realized that sunlight did more damage than giving you a nifty tan and skin cancer, it now resides in a bookcase which has glass doors and sits in my sanctum out of the way of any type of light, well apart from candles that is. As some of you may well know, the majority of our knowledge on the occult sciences has come down through this author, De Abano, Dr John Dee et al all found their path through his works and likewise he found his knowledge growing by reading their works. Many’dabblers’ don’t think about consequences they just find a book which has something easy to do in it and off they go, I wont say that the effects will kill them or their family as we cannot prove that, but what I can say is that each year many suicides are recorded from people who have everything going for them in life yet here they are dead, when asked family and friends say they didn’t have a care in the world but when you look at what they were doing or reading you will find in many instances a book on the occult, it has happened far too often to be just coincidental as many would have you believe, I only ask that if your interest is genuine go forward with energy not start stop steps for this is when the things you fear most can happen. So there you are, a very rare book for your library plus, keep looking I have more to list over the coming months. Lucifer is a God in his own right but created to be her brother by Diana who as many know is Queen of all Witch’s. She gave Lucifer life, he was of the sun and the moon, beautiful light, but like any egotist he literally fell in love with himself. Though she created him she also fell in love with him and wanted him for her husband, eventually using specials whiles she slept with Lucifer and they created Aradia who is the Queen of Witch’s on earth, I know complex or what. What we should all learn from this is that the roman/christian god doesn’t exist and never could have done even according to his own bible, the contradictions are so clear that any fool can see them. Lucifer was an entity created long before him or as it seems there is a growing suggestion that the roman/christian god would have been hermaphrodite neither male or female. Could you imagine what would happen if that fact could be proven! A church built on certain values whose god is one of those things banned, but then when the church actually employs such degenerates as perverts, paedophiles and child molesters what more can you possibly expect? Long live Lucifer through which everything has a possibility. Any questions please ask. Post days are Monday and Thursday only. Measures 5″ inches in height by 3″ inches in width and contains 505 pages. The book is complete and followed by a set of index pages. He was fascinated with the idea of death and sin and much of his work pertains to this subject. He spent most of his later life analyzing sin and the effect it has on our choices. The binding is embossed pigskin with leather strap, most likely to be the original binding. The covers feature an embossed figurative center piece showing Jesus on the front and Madonna on the back with a geometric frame. This was the original binding passed down from a providence in Germany from a family collection. This type of binding is extremely rare and personal to the author. A second Latin as well as the first German-language print both appeared in 1617. The beautiful copper title in the form of a portal pedicle shows six biblical scenes (Fall of Man, Noah’s Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah, golden lamb, exodus from Egypt, Nebuchadnezzar’s dream of a tree) and the apotropaic monster in the upper bar with the hell throat in the lower bar. Overall clean and well preserved, the pretty little early baroque cover dates from 1615. Errors and things to note: The binding is in very good condition and the pages are crisp with no rips or tears. The title page features some foxing but overall the pages are in very good condition.
