Fine Folio Society edition limited to 1000 copies of which this is no. 115 Eleven volumes in all, including Index and Diary Companion. Bound in quarter Nigerian goatskin with gilt titling; marble paper sides by Ann Muir and zerkall cream laid endpapers. The set comes with the wooden display box which fits the books perfectly. Care needs to be taken when removing the books from this case as they fit tightly.. All volumes are clean and tight as when published, although a few have minor flattened rather than rounded spines (hence Near Fine rather than Perfect Fine). Pepys’ Diary was a very popular FS limited edition when published and is now out of print and hard to find. This was my late fathers set and he never read them hence the beautiful condition.
