The “Caucasian Calendar” was an annual publication in the Russian Empire, published in Tiflis from 1845 to 1916. It was the first serial guide to the Caucasus. A large number of ethnographic and historical materials were published in the “Caucasian Calendar”. In addition, there was, so-called, the section “Chronological Evidence”, containing a chronological list of significant dates in the history of the Caucasus since ancient times.
