His is a Very Good Copy of this book in Full Cream Vvellum with the spine lettered in gilt and with the front cover decorated in black. Bevelled edges to the outer boards. Complete with a Frontispiece and several b&w plates with one large folding plate of the South West Prospect of Manchester in the County Palatine of Lancaster. This is loosely laid in along with a sketch of a canal also laid in dated 1900. There are 2 previous owner’s names to the top edge of the front pastedown. Ligfht wear to head of spine. This is the large-paper issue and is a Limited Edition of just 250 numbered copies of which this one is number 18. Large 4to measures 12” by 9” Limited Edition [1887].
