This is a great condition set of three hardback first edition’Little Books’ by award-winning author John Burningham: The Rabbit (1974), The Baby (1974) and The Dog (1975). A charming collection published by Jonathon Cape Ltd. In London, with book design by Jan Pienkowsi, these three charmingly illustrated children’s books, which have captured the hearts of children and parents alike for over 50 years, are all highly collectable and hard to find first editions. The books each measure around 165mm x 161mm. The Rabbit and The Baby are both in excellent condition and The Dog is in very good condition with only very minor discolouration to the inside back cover. No tears, scratches, folds, marks, writing or stickers anywhere on the books aside from the original price stickers on the back covers of The Baby and The Rabbit.
