This is one of the 100 copies of this limited edition (those numbered 1-100), from the overall limited edition of 250 copies, that have this signed’bookplate stamps’ treatment. This copy is number 31. Since production, a further 5 of the authors (at the time of listing) have sadly passed away – Michael Jacobs (2014), Sarah Maguire (2017), John Julius Norwich (2018), Jan Morris (2020) and Dervla Murphy (2022). In very fine unread condition. The book is bound in dark-blue cloth by MPG Biddles, the upper board with impressed panel lettered in white, spine lettered in white; pictorial endpapers featuring Sroop Sunar’s’stamps’, housed in a clear plastic sleeve, red cloth slipcase, yellow ribbon page marker. A very uncommon item. A large number of important travel writers feature here as signatories of this book at their contributions, several of whom have since passed away.
