Stuart Turton Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle Signed Numbered 1st Goldsboro
A highly collectable signed and low numbered limited edition of the bestselling debut novel from award-winning English travel journalist and short-story writer Stuart Turton. This received universally strong reviews, securing TV rights options 6 months ahead of the publication date (a 7-part Netflix series is planned) and subsequently won the prestigious 2018 Costa First Novel Award, as well as being nominated for a number of other awards. The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle’ published by Raven Books, London (a Bloomsbury imprint) on 8 February 2018 as a trade edition, this special edition was in conjunction with Goldsboro Books, 1st edition, large modern hardback, [x] + 511 pages. Flat hand signed and hand numbered in red by the author at a special limitation page for this limited edition release, this copy is quite a low number being copy number 84 from the limited worldwide release of only 1000 copies. In fine unread condition, some light storage wear at gutter ends. The book has black head & tail bands and a black ribbon page marker. All text block edges are sprayed red. This copy comes with an exclusive promotional bookmark – a copy was only supplied with a limited number of copies of this edition. A brilliantly original high concept murder mystery from a fantastic new talent: Gosford Park meets Inception, by way of Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express. Somebody’s going to be murdered at the ball tonight. It won’t appear to be a murder and so the murderer won’t be caught. Rectify that injustice and I’ll show you the way out. It is meant to be a celebration but it ends in tragedy. As fireworks explode overhead, Evelyn Hardcastle, the young and beautiful daughter of the house, is killed. But Evelyn will not die just once. Until Aiden – one of the guests summoned to Blackheath for the party – can solve her murder, the day will repeat itself, over and over again. Every time ending with the fateful pistol shot. The only way to break this cycle is to identify the killer. But each time the day begins again, Aiden wakes in the body of a different guest. And someone is determined to prevent him ever escaping Blackheath.. This book blew my mind. It is utterly original and unique. I couldn’t get it out of my head for days afterwards (Sophie Hannah). The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle is a mind-bending mash-up of Agatha Christie, Quantum Leap and Groundhog Day. If it isn’t made into a film in the very near future, I’ll eat my deerstalker.
