This listing is for ONE BOOK (Specifically the book in the photographs). Book is hand SIGNED on the front endpaper by Fabian. This Edition is bound in an extremely gorgeous pebbled leather. It appears to be very different from the “Open Edition”. (From the photos I have found). It is also lacking the big publisher’s logo on the front board. I believe this to be a version of the “Deluxe” “Limited” Edition. It is a MASSIVE book. It is not the 12″x12″ version available on Amazon. It is approximately 15″x12″ and weighs approximately 10 pounds. I cannot find another “Deluxe” version for sale on the internet. It is insanely scarce! This book (As well as 2 others I obtained of this same title) have white edges. However, I have one copy (a separate listing). That has gold gilt edges. All other aspects are identical. I have not found another copy with gilt edges so, that only furthers my confusion on the “edition” of these books. Take a look at all of the photos and determine for yourself. They may be editions special to the publisher and/or Fabian I’m really not sure. They are absolutely BREATHTAKING. This book is “unread” but in used condition. While absolutely stunning, there is some shelf and storage wear. I have gone over every inch to the best of my ability, I have noted below, the imperfections upon close inspection. I have also included several photos to capture the condition. Leather is a bit dusty, Could use a gentle cleaning. Dents, curling edges, and other imperfections to the Dust Jacket. Back of Dust Jacket has more surface wear than the front. It almost looks like brush strokes and may very well be intentional. Minor Finger prints, smudges, etc also present. Corners show very minor wear. Leather boards have minimal cosmetic wear. Very minor nicks, or rubbing may be found upon close inspection. Please feel free to request additional photos if needed! It is a 1982 limited edition copy of the book’Masquerade’, the famous book that started a mass treasure hunt. This book by Jonathan Cape was produced in a limited edition run of 1000, signed by the author Kit Williams. This copy is number 745. Palm trees swaying against a blue sky, women tanning on loungers by La Promenade de la Croisette, and the Gucci tribe amongst it all wearing colourful pieces from Cruise 2019. Martin Parr captures scenes in Cannes for Gucci’s limited-edition photographic book’WORLD (The Price of Love)’ named after the song by British post-punk band New Order. France’s famous seaside town setting mixed perfectly with the characters dressed in the collection to create vivid images for the book, according to the documentary style British photographer, who spoke more about the shoot below. What spirit were you trying to capture from Cannes and the Côte d’Azur in the photos? I was trying to capture the spirit of Cannes and how I believe the general public see or understand it, and combine it with the back drop of the Gucci Cruise 2019 collection and our characters. How does the famous French holiday destination compare to other seaside locations-are there some similar aspects between Cannes and New Brighton? Cannes by nature is always a bit posh, so that is quite a different to location if compared to say New Brighton in the UK that I have shot many times, I always play to be strengths of the location and what is naturally visible or happening at that time. When was the last time you shot there and how has it changed? How did you want to convey the clothes from the collection as part of the image? The Fleischer Omnibus – VERY RARE Warhammer Fantasy / Black Library book. One of the very rare now,’Print on Demand’ series of books the Black Library made available years ago. Not only a spectacular and hard to find collectors item but actually a good read too. All of the books in my collection of these titles have only been read once and are in very good to excellent condition as shown in the pictures. The spine pictures should show how little use the book has had. They have been stored in a pet and smoke free environment. Sadly life means that they have to go, do check out my other listings for the equally rare. And remember this listing is only for The Fleischer Omnibus.
